Business events are a major contributor to Tasmania’s economy and social capital.

Locals that are a member of an association or corporation that has a conference, meeting or incentive event that could be hosted in Tasmania, should consider becoming a 'local host'. Local hosts work with Business Events Tasmania to bid to 'host' that business event in Tasmania.

Bidding for an event raises the local hosts profile nationally and potentially internationally by giving them exposure in a leadership role to their industry peers.
