Levels of Membership
There are five levels of membership to Business Events Tasmania. These levels have been designed to reflect the varying needs of organisations that target the business events industry.
Platinum level membership, for example, is the entry level membership for those organisations that gain a primary income from the business events industry, including professional meeting managers and metropolitan meeting venues.
Networking membership is designed for those organisations that want to target Business Events Tasmania members rather than the wider business events industry.
Benefits of Membership
One of the primary benefits sought by members of Business Events Tasmania is access to the Business Events Calender. This is a calendar of all the secured events for the state with the contact details of the key decision maker for each event. The timing of access to this information is a key differentiator between the five levels of membership.
In addition to the ongoing marketing of Tasmania as a destination for business events, the key benefits of membership are outlined in the Membership Prospectus 2012/2013.

Business Events Tasmania provides members with professional development seminars, networking and additional cooperative marketing opportunities.
Applying for membership to Business Events Tasmania takes three easy steps:
- Fill out the online application form or download the application form, fill in and send to Business Events Tasmania.
- A letter of welcome and an invoice for membership fees will then be sent to you. On receipt of payment the applicant becomes a member!
- The Membership Manager will then deliver the membership pack, view the product and establish how to maximise the return on your membership investment.
