06-Oct-2011 | The 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Tasmanian Convention Bureau Limited (trading as Business Events Tasmania) will be held on October 18 in The Museum at the Cascade Visitors Centre in South Hobart at 5pm.
All members are encouraged to attend and business covered at the Annual General Meeting includes:
- To receive and consider the reports of the Directors and of the Auditors, the profit and loss account and the balance sheet for the year ended 30 June 2010.
- Presentation of the Annual Board Report and the Marketing Report.
- In the absence of any other nominations, to re-appoint Messrs Wise, Lord and Ferguson - Chartered Accountants as auditors.
- General business of which notice has been given.

The meeting will be followed by a member networking function at the Cascade Visitors Centre where members will also be able to witness a historic moment when a Memorandum of Understanding between Business Events Tasmania and the Hobart City Council will be signed by The Lord Mayor, Alderman Rob Valentine, and the Chairperson of Business Events Tasmania, Ms Pamela Graham.
