Business Events Tasmania Hits the Mark at AIME 2012
06-Mar-2012 | Business Events Tasmania’s popularity at AIME 2012 was the highest ever!
Over the course of the two days the sales team met with over 90 clients all with varied interests in the destination, the product, experiences and suggested itineraries and creative ideas for group events.We were joined on our AIME stand by the following members:

- Meadowbank Winery
- Navigators
- Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston
- Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart
- White Sands Resort
- Josef Chromy
- Waji Catering
Also in attendance, and adjacent to the Business Event Tasmania Stand, was the Federal Group. Tasmania was quite a presence amongst the many destinations on display.
Claire Harrington, Business Events Tasmania Director of Sales, said that “Tasmania is clearly carving out a niche as a sought after destination for corporate and incentive events. There have been many more enquiries, requests for site inspections and bids prepared that are coming to fruition. PCOs are realising how special the destination is and just how well it delivers “.
