Theatre of the World (June 23,2012 - April 9, 2013)
Curated by Jean-Hubert Martin, this exhibition creates a dialogue between different cultures and times. It brings together over 300 works, many never seen before, from two disparate collections - MONA and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. Highlight: 80 bark cloths from across the Southern Pacific from the TMAG collection and never exhibited before, and some of the most beautiful and intriguing works and objects of curiosity ever displayed together. The Promise: more visual overdose. Curated by Jean-Hubert Martin with Tijs Visser, Oliver Varenne, Nicole Durling and the MONA and TMAG teams.
Jazz at MONA
MOFO Curator, Brian Ritchie, has organised jazz at MONA every Sunday between 1 and 4pm, indefinitely. When the weather's good, it'll be held on the lawn stage and when it's not it will be held in The Void.
